Before 2020, Kimberland Collars was quiet.
Just a simple Squarespace site. A Facebook page with barely a handful of posts.
And only three products: the Ultra, Original, and Duro micro prong collars.

That was it. No fancy features. No storefront integration. Just a deep belief in creating solid, effective training tools for dogs that needed them.

Then came the pandemic. The world changed, and so did we. Dog owners found themselves at home more. They were paying closer attention to their dogs' behavior, and they needed solutions. Demand for quality collars shot up, and we had to evolve quickly to keep up.

We added center plates for better balance and function.
We launched the 2.25mm prong collars for stronger dogs.
We introduced buckle options to make training more accessible.
And we moved to Shopify to connect directly with our customers on Facebook and Instagram.

That was the turning point.
We didn’t just expand. We rebuilt. We created clear SOPs for every collar we make, documenting each detail from bending the first piece of wire to packing the final product.

We didn’t outsource. We trained.
Veterans and local farm boys began lending a hand, learning the process with pride and precision.

Every prong collar still goes through a 12-step process.
Every collar is made by hand, double-checked, and packed with care.
Every order is personal.

Kimberland Collars may have started small, but today it’s a true American-made brand. Built by real people. Backed by a growing community of dog trainers and owners who believe in our mission.

Thanks for being part of this journey.
We’re not done yet.

Warmly,

Rachelle
